ABB has added IP66 and UL Type 4X versions across its general-purpose, HVACR and water variable-speed drive families, built to sit next to pumps, fans and compressors without a protective enclosure. For FM and building-services teams, that means simpler installs in wet, dusty or corrosive spots and up to 25% energy savings through variable-speed control.
