SFG20's State of Facilities Management 2026 Report, based on nearly 200 built-environment professionals, finds 51% of organisations report a shortage of FM staff. More striking: the top skills gaps are compliance and safety (42%), digital and IT (42%), and sustainability and energy (32%) — and 43% of respondents want next year's training budget increased.
