The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) has secured a £1.2 million donation from The Manly Trust — its largest single donation in 129 years as a charity — to fund the Manly Trust Skills Hub at its redeveloped central London headquarters. For the UK building-services engineering profession, this is a deliberate response to the skills-pipeline problem: CPD, training and assessment facilities co-located at the institutional HQ that members already visit for chartership and committee work.
