Complii buys Rochester-based Escalator Company — UK compliance buy-and-build continues

UK building safety and compliance provider Complii has acquired The Escalator Company, a Rochester, Kent specialist in escalator and travelator servicing, maintenance, refurbishment and installation. Founded in 2002 as a family business, The Escalator Company prioritises refurbishment over replacement. The deal follows Complii's earlier acquisition of Classic Lifts (Scotland) and continues its 'buy and build' strategy across Lifts & Escalators alongside its water, air, fire and electrical compliance lines.
