RICS launches CLEAR to align whole-life carbon reporting across the built environment
At the Sustainable Buildings and Construction Summit in Lausanne, RICS unveiled CLEAR — the Coalition for Life Cycle Emissions Alignment and Reporting — a global initiative to harmonise how whole-life carbon is measured and disclosed across property and construction. For FM leaders, CLEAR promises an end to the patchwork of incompatible embodied-carbon protocols that currently muddle ESG reporting and investment decisions.
